Le Bulletin - December 2014
We were pleased that St. Barth President Bruno Magras took time out of his busy schedule to attend our Seaside Soirée.
SBP Vice President Tom Smyth and his wife Amy were also there to host the festivities.

Our new Live Your Dream Catalogue!
Our week’s agenda included a site inspection at the newly re-branded Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France complete with a lovely poolside lunch enhanced with a fashion show. And together with staff, we checked on the status of some new villas that we are looking forward to adding to our portfolio. November is such an exciting time to visit as the island “opens up,” and remember, Value Season pricing is still in effect until December 14. The coveted and festive holiday period with all its “star power” is just around the corner. If you are planning on celebrating the holidays in St. Barth, don’t delay. Visit us at www.stbarth.com for some wonderful villas still available on select dates. And when you visit, you’ll see our new website. We love it and hope you do, too.
Happy Holidays and I hope to see you on the island!
Peg Walsh, President
New island eateries include a charming restaurant and crêperie L’Ardoise in Villa Créole St. Jean. Casual and nicely priced, it is open daily for lunch and dinner except Sundays. Their savory crêpes, made with buckwheat flour (traditionally called galettes) are delicious as are the sweet dessert variations. The dinner menu includes a selection of starters (entrées) and main courses as well.
Villas of St. Barth
We are pleased to welcome Villa My Way to our portfolio.
Named for legendary crooner Frank Sinatra’s signature anthem, this unique five bedroom villa in Colombier would be the perfect twenty-first-century digs for the Rat Pack: luxury galore complete with a living room graced with a grand piano plus a giant screen and video projector. And there’s that sweeping view of the Caribbean Sea. The five en suite bedrooms are even named for celebrated mid-century singers. All have king (French) beds, sumptuous linens and his-and-hers dressing rooms. Retractable TVs with DVD players under the floor in four of the bedrooms offer French and U.S. satellite service. The kitchen is equipped with professional-grade appliances and a wealth of culinary accoutrements ideal for a chef or a gourmet cook. A bright yellow Lego dining table on the covered terrace seats 18 and provides a touch of whimsy and a pop of color to the villa’s muted palate and sophisticated minimalist décor. The expansive outdoor living space includes a view of Flamands Beach while a Jacuzzi spills over into one of the two heated infinity pools. In the evenings, the dramatic lighting beautifully showcases the contemporary architecture. Included is covered parking for up to eleven cars.

November 9, Pitea Day commemorated St. Barth’s return to Sweden from France which included the Gustavialoppet, a fun-for-all road race. Kudos to our colleagues Anne-Cécile Bedford (U.S. office) and Benoit Meesemaecker (St. Barth) for their participation – and great finishes.
Our very own St. Barth Specialist, Anne-Cécile Bedford and St. Barth Sotheby's International Realty Office Manager, Benoit Meesemaecker made us proud in the 2014 Gustavialoppet.
When it was 12:01 a.m. on Thursday November 20th in France, and 7:01 p.m. on Wednesday November 19 in St. Barth, we once again celebrated and tasted the Beaujolais Nouveau at the Cellier du Gouverneur in Gustavia. This annual gathering is one that the staff enjoys as much as our clients do.

We never miss having lunch at Le Select and go for the bacon double cheeseburger. Yum!
We absolutely loved our time in St. Barth and Royal Palm. The views from the villa are breathtaking, and it suited us very well. All your people provided great service from the time we arrived to when we left. First-class all the way. See you next year!
