Le Bulletin January 2020

Flamands Beach

Bonne Année! I hope your holidays were merry & bright and you enjoyed time with family and friends. The 2019 Festive Season in St. Barth was one for the books, with a super yacht showdown, celebrities jockeying for the best tables at our chic, stellar restaurants and shopping in the marquee boutiques. And as always, the New Year’s Eve fireworks were spectacular.

We loved hearing people exclaim that the island is not just “back” – it’s better than ever. We’ve already received a record number of early bookings for 2020’s holidays. Don’t miss out! Our team is at the ready to reserve your first choice for a hotel or villa stay; contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Merci to our on-island staff, who have just now exhaled, and to all our clients who enjoyed a dream vacation in 2019. We appreciate your business and all your referrals.

I’ve been off-island for a bit, and happily, I’ll be returning in early February. I have lots of villas to inspect and I’m looking forward to seeing the new rooms at Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France as well as lunching seaside at their new restaurant La Cabane.

I hope to see you on the island.

Villas of St. Barth

We’re pleased to welcome Villa Moana to our portfolio.

Villa Moana

Villa Moana
Overlooking Lorient Beach, the sweet and petite one bedroom Villa Moana offers privacy and a lovely view of its brilliant blue waters. It is fully air-conditioned throughout, and a compact, well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar is adjacent to a living room furnished for relaxing and TV viewing – there’s French satellite and Apple TV. Glass sliders open to the pool deck. A 4-poster king bed adds a touch of romance that honeymooners would adore, and the chic en suite bath has a double sink vanity. Book a stay for a minimum of 7 nights and mention you read about Villa Moana in this newsletter, and you’ll be treated to an in-villa dinner prepared and served by one of the island’s private chefs. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, but romance is always in the air in St. Barth. We will be announcing a new St. Barth Properties Collection, designed for the couple seeking a romantic getaway. Be the first to know the details by signing up for Peg's Blog.

Hotels of St. Barth

The 5 star Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France reopened this fall with exciting new additions, including a stunning new five bedroom villa whose amenities include an infinity pool, a private spa and a fitness room – plus a personal butler and not one but two Mini Coopers! They acquired and transformed the former Hotel Taïwana just adjacent. This area is now home to the beautiful new beachfront restaurant La Cabane. Families and beachgoers are enjoying this feet-in-the-sand dining experience. Their Flamands Burger comes highly recommended.

Client Accolade

Thank you for everything, from finding the right villa to all our reservations and excursions on the island. Special thanks to Julia. We adored Villa Nirvana, so thank you, Anne, for recommending it based on proximity to Gustavia and the view!! We had wonderful dinners – Santa Fe and Le Toiny were favorites. We adored our lunches at Shellona and, of course, Nikki Beach. St. Barth has truly become our favorite Island!
