Lunch and Dinner Reservations and Recommendations

What’s the toughest decision you need to make? It’s which fabulous restaurant to dine at each evening. Should you make it an early evening or dance on the tabletops into the wee hours? How to choose? Not to worry, we know the restaurants intimately and dine there often. Our concierges Julia and Magda are at-the-ready to guide you to the best spot depending on your desires and cravings and, of course, they will make each and every reservation for you.

St. Barth is truly a paradise for gourmets and foodies alike. Its over 80 restaurants range from gastronomique dining rooms, many housed in high-end hotels, to sidewalk cafés and feet-in-the-sand beachside grilles. Some venues can be quite expensive, but there are lots of affordable options with great ambience and amazing views. Reservations, always recommended, are a must in High Season and we are more than pleased to do that for you; with provisions flown in from Paris, paired with local seafood, dining here is considered to be the best in the Caribbean, rivaling that of any city in the world.

The same local delicacies and wines served at the top eateries can be picked up at a number of excellent delis and markets. Sample the wonderful breads and pastries offered at the French boulangeries, and pick up sandwiches for a beach picnic or some delicious dishes for a quick and easy supper and dine poolside. For a real treat, consider hiring one of the island's private chefs to prepare a meal at your villa. We work with the top chefs and will recommend the ones who specialize in your favorite type of cuisine and then make all of the arrangements for you.

St. Barth is relatively quiet, which is just fine for those who like to relax and leisurely enjoy a fine dinner and a bottle of wine.

A number of the restaurants do morph into a bar scene later with live music and dancing. The notorious Ti Saint-Barth tops the list. A slightly bawdy and loads-of-fun show follows dinner, and bragging rights are garnered by those dancing on the tabletops, so join in. Some nightclubs "are just getting started" about midnight and folks party until the wee hours. Be advised there are no casinos, but there is plenty of nightlife for those who seek it.
